Mackenzie Tour Canada

  • Dates: May 28 - June 3, 2018
  • Event: Freedom 55 Financial Open
  • Location: Point Grey Golf & Country Club | Vancouver, B.C.
  • Volunteer Package includes: ($50 fee, of which $30 is donated to Canucks for Kids Fund)
    1. - Official Tournament golf shirt as paft of the volunteer uniform
      - All meals and snacks included during volunteer shifts
      - Volunteer appreciation party
      - Free parking and transportation to and from course to designated parking lots
      - Two tickets to a Vancouver Canucks regular season game

  • More Details: Volunteering is a fun way to give back to your community, make new friends and get “inside the ropes” with the up and coming stars of the PGA Tour. Mackenzie Tour events typically need 300+ volunteers and The Freedom 55 Financial Open will be no different. Your involvement as a volunteer will directly impact our efforts in creating a unique experience for players, spectators and ensure a long lasting legacy in the Vancouver, B.C. community.

2018 USA Special Olympic Games

  • Dates: June 29 - July 7, 2018
  • Location: Seattle, WA
  • Volunteer registration is now open for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, July 1-6, 2018 in Seattle, Wash. More than 3,500 Special Olympics athletes from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 1,000 coaches, 10,000 family members, 10,000 volunteers and an estimated 50,000 spectators will take part in this premier national sports competition, showcasing the power and joy of sports at the highest levels.

105th Canadian Women's Amateur

  • Dates: July 24-27, 2018
  • Event: 105th Canadian Women's Amateur
  • Location: Marine Drive Golf Club | Vancouver, B.C.
  • Volunteer Package: Volunteers receive a tournament hat, shirt and lunch.

  • More Details: Over a century old and with more than 100 titles contested, the Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship is among the oldest golfing competitions in Canada and has spawned a long list of great champions who have gone on to see international success. Past winners have included Dawn-Coe Jones, A.J. Eathorne, past Marine Drive member Marilyn (Palmer) O’Connor and current LPGA star Brooke Henderson who won the event in 2013 to raise the coveted Duchess of Connaught Gold Cup – presented annually to the Women’s Amateur Champion. See a strong International field of golfers (in 2017, 20 of the world's top 100 players competed), and be a part of one of Canada's longest-running national championships.

114th Canadian Men's Amateur

  • Dates: August 6-9, 2018
  • Event: 114th Canadian Men's Amateur
  • Location: Duncan Meadows GC & Pheasant Glen GR | on Vancouver Island, B.C.
  • Volunteer Package: Volunteers receive a championship-logo'd shirt, Golf Canada hat and lunches the days that are worked.

  • More Details: There is no amateur golf championship in Canada with a richer history than the Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship. More than a century old, the Amateur was first contested as one of the newly formed Royal Canadian Golf Association’s first orders of business in 1895 at the Ottawa Golf Club. The champion receives an exemption into next year’s RBC Canadian Open. The championship is looking for 200 volunteers.

2018 U.S. Senior Amateur

  • Dates: August 25-30, 2018
  • Event: U.S. Senior Amateur Championship
  • Location: Eugene Country Club | Eugene, Ore.
  • Volunteer Package: (There will be no charge for the volunteer package, thanks to the generous support of Murphy Company.)
    - Each volunteer will receive a volunteer package with championship-branded NIKE Golf apparel and meals while they are supporting the championship.

  • More Details:Eugene Country Club, a perennial top-100 golf course, has a rich history of hosting national championships, including the 1964 U.S. Junior Amateur, 1978 NCAA Championship, 1993 U.S. Mid-Amateur, 2002 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur, 2008 U.S. Women’s Amateur, and most recently the 2016 NCAA Championships for both men and women. This year the club hosts the U.S. Senior Amateur, with 156 of the world’s best senior amateur golfers competing. The championship will require the assistance of over 200 volunteers.
  • If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please complete the Volunteer Application. The championship is also looking for qualified caddies, who will be paid $75 per round. If interested, please complete the Caddie Application.

The First Tee of Greater Seattle

  • Spring programming dates: February 18 - May 20, 2018
  • Location: TFT programming locations across the Seattle area
  • Volunteer Info: The experience of volunteering for most is fun, rewarding, and positive, and so we invite people of all ages (13+) to join us in making a difference in the community. And you don't need to be an expert golf instructor! We seek a balance among our team members between all types of skill sets and serve a diverse population of young people, so we welcome a variety of backgrounds on our coaching staff.

The First Tee of South Puget Sound

  • Spring programming dates: April 23 - June 3, 2018 (Once a week, for six weeks)
  • Location: The First Tee programming locations across the South Puget Sound.
  • Volunteer Info: Without caring mentors, positive youth development just doesn’t happen. At The First Tee of South Puget Sound we take coaching seriously. We believe that a meaningful, quality relationship between coach and participant is vital to our program. We are looking for volunteers to help support the lead coach at one of our programming locations across the South Puget Sound. Spring Volunteer Training will be held Thursday, April 12, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Meadow Park Golf Course.

The First Tee of Yakima

  • Volunteer Info: The First Tee of Yakima is looking for coaches and volunteers who love golf and love kids! Both the Spring BREAK Camp and Spring Program offer beginner and intermediate sessions. Volunteers can sign up for as many classes or as few as desired.

The First Tee

  • Location: TFT Programming locations across WSGA territory
  • Volunteer Info: Why not spend some time on the course making a difference as a volunteer coach with The First Tee. Help kids ages 6 to 17 years old learn values like confidence, respect, and perseverance through the game you love. New coach training and orientations will take place beginning in mid-March.
