Highline College - scholarships available for young women golfers
- Details: If you are looking to play golf in college and continue your education, the Highline College women's golf program has scholarships available for the fall of 2017. Three scholarships are available. The team has a fall season and a spring season with plenty of tournaments during the year. The school is affiliated with the Northwest Athletic Conference. - Details: The United States Golf Association, Masters Tournament and the PGA of America have officially launched the 2018 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship by announcing the qualifying schedule for the program's fifth year. The schedule includes dates and locations for participants to play in local qualifiers across the country with the opportunity to advance and earn an invitation to next year's National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club.
Online registration will be available at www.DriveChipandPutt.com, starting Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

The 2017 National Finals will be held April 2, 2017 at Augusta National, opening up this year's Masters Tournament.
The Drive, Chip & Putt Championship aims to help younger generations begin their lifelong connection with golf by providing a fun, interactive platform for participants of all skill levels. This free youth golf development initiative welcomes boys and girls ages 7-15 to participate in separate divisions in four age categories. Local qualifying will take place throughout all 50 states during the months of May, June, July and August. Top performers at the local level will advance through subregional and regional qualifiers at some of the country's best championship venues in July/August and September/October, respectively. The top 80 performers – 40 boys and 40 girls – will earn an invitation to the National Finals at Augusta National on Sunday, April 1, the eve of the 2018 Masters.
Expanding this year to 268 total sites.
GHC Elite Golf Camps at Home Course - New Dates Added!
- Details: Grays Harbor College has added three new dates for their Elite Golf Camps, which are being held this summer at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.
The college's goal is to create an elite tournament players performance camp that will showcase world class instructors, mental training tools and short game fundamentals, all designed to develop life skills and training to compete at a high level.
The newly-added one-day camps are being held July 11, August 16 and August 24. The camps are open to boys and girls, ages 11-18.
Tuition includes instruction (including playing lesson), green fees, tee prize, lunch and a sleeve of Titleist Pro V1 golf balls.
The director of the camp is Ann Swanson, head golf coach for the men's and women's teams at Grays Harbor College, and also a 2007 inductee into the Pacific Northwest Golf Hall of Fame.
