The Annual Golf Summit of Washington is set for Tuesday, March 26, at Chambers Bay, the site of the 2015 U.S. Open. The summit is conducted by the Golf Alliance of Washington, which consists of the Washington State Golf Association, Pacific Northwest Section PGA, Western Washington Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Evergreen Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America.
Part of the program will include a walking tour of Chambers Bay with course architects Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and Bruce Charlton, during which they will discuss the course's recent renovations. In keeping with the U.S. Open theme, Danny Sink, the USGA's Championship Director for the 2015 U.S. Open, will be a featured speaker at the summit.
Also speaking that day will be Walt Osborne from Syngenta, Larry Gilhuly from the USGA Green Section, Joe Beditz from the National Golf Foundation and Monte Koch from the PGA of America.
Registration is $55 and includes lunch. You can click here to register online, or click here (PDF, 92k) to print and mail in your registration. If you register after March 22, the registration fee is $60.
